The Compaq ProLiant 1500 is a powerful, flexible, and affordable server from HP. It is ideal for compute-intensive tasks and mission-critical applications. The ProLiant 1500 supports both a single 75, 100 and 120 MHz Pentium, or a dual 133 and 166 MHz Pentium processors.
The memory is located on processor board for increased memory support for high power processors. Also, the ProLiant 1500 makes use of Compaq FlexSMP system Architecture and it comes with standard 256 KB or 512 KB of secondary write-back cache. It also comes with a pre-installed NetFlex-3/P Controller, and multiple expansion slots.
